Khrabi Island
I plan on leaving Ko Phenang to go to another Island called Khrabi and then maybe Ko Tao or Phukett. After christmas I will be coming back to Ko Phenang to be here for a few days before the Big New Year’s Party. I will be at a pool party at the expensive hotel I stayed when I was first here… then I will be going to a few other parties throughout the night.
I had my first scooter accident… nothing bad the bike was worse then me and I had to pay for the repairs which came to roughly $200…. a high price to pay considering it cost me $4 to rent for 24 hrs, but no broken bones just a skinned knee very lighlty on one forearm and one elbow. I was very lucky to have fallen on sand so the injuries weren’t way worse. I was following a jeep and the portion where I fell was really bumpy so the jeep almost stopped completely and I put on my front brake to avoid hitting the jeep and then slid out because the front brake locked up…. I should have use the back brake or waited till the jeep was across the 20 foot stretch of bad road.
A girl fom England I became friends with crashed yesterday…. she is more skinned up than me and her bike was a bit worse, but again no broken bones. It happns to everyone eventually…. so now I am intiated and I rented another scooter when I returned the one for repair. They love it because they make a lot of money on that sort of thing and it happens a lot. Oh well shit happens as they say. I am still having the time of my life and making new friends everywhere. A lot of people on the island know me already and that is a good thing because I get things for cheaper or for free.
